Adult & Family Introductory Skill Clinics
2012 DATES & INTERMEDIATE LEVEL ITINERARIES NOW POSTED!
Our adult skill clinics are run each season for a variety of different adventure activities. The new format allows you to choose whether you want a one day experience at either a beginner or intermediate level, or make it an overnight by attending both. The beginner level courses aren’t just for people who have never done the activity before, but for those that have never had any instruction on technique, climb set ups, kayak rolls & rescue techniques, or safety in caves. These are just examples of the subjects covered at each of the different activity classes.
The intermediate level may require a bit more physical ability but mostly it is just the next level in instruction. These courses are designed to be fun and if you attend the beginner level course you will mostly likely be capable of participating in the intermediate level without any prior experience. Much cheaper than any certification or training course, if you don’t need a certification but you want the knowledge, this is the class for you.
Looking for something a bit longer? Check out our 3 night New River Gorge trip, Adult Centrifuge Bike Camp or our Bike & Wine Blue Ridge Parkway adult excursions.
