We are now offering more to adults (18+) than ever before. Whether you just want to plan an overnight at our facility in New Castle with your friends and family, or if you want to travel the world we have something for you.
Custom Retreats & Overnights
We are unlike any other program out there and we are local to Roanoke, Blacksburg, Botetourt and the surrounding areas. We provide the opportunity to have an easy, all inclusive, inexpensive getaway from the office, the monotony of the daily grind and any other excuse you need to just get out and have a good time. Bring your family, a group of friends, co-workers or any group of people that is ready for a good time in the beautiful Blue Ridge.
Our staff doesn’t just hand you the key and walk away either. You will have a host or hostess to make sure that you feel at home and have everything you possibly need. As the Colonel (owner/founder) always says, “If the toilet paper isn’t soft enough, we’ll go buy you something softer!” Our goal is to please and we are dedicated to that goal. Adult Adventure Skill Clinics
We are currently offering a variety of skill clinics to be held on weekends, which are designed to introduce people to a new adventure sport that they have been wanting to try but can’t afford the gear or are feeling like they need a little instruction before they head out on their own. Our experienced and professional staff will take you through all the basics of each adventure sport and teach you how to use the equipment and how to tune or maintain it properly. They will also teach you technique, give you tips and get you ready to start planning your own personal trips. We are currently offering clinics for whitewater kayaking, caving, and rock climbing & rappelling. Adult Excursions & Adventure Travel
We can’t tell you how many times we’ve described our summer backpacking programs for youth to adults and had them say, “I want to do that!” Before we had to say, sorry we only run programs for ages 8-18, but not anymore. Wilderness Adventure has heard your wishes and now we have made them come true. Sign up now for one of our 7 day excursions for ages 18+. We are currently offering trips featuring backpacking on the world renowned AT, rock climbing in VA & WV, mountain biking at the best spots in VA, and an all white water program.
