Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing has quickly become one the fastest growing and most popular retreat centers in the southeast. We have had the honor of hosting church groups and spiritual retreats from the region including; church choirs, men’s groups, youth retreats and other church affiliated programs. These groups have returned year after year, realizing that WAEL is a perfect location for bonding and building fellowship.
Your group can have services and discussions at our scenic bluff overlook, in our cozy Main Lodge, or even on our porch with 360 degree views of the Appalachian Mountains. During the colder months, take advantage of our amazing off-season discounts, enjoy our 2 story fireplace and cocoa while have your own programming in our elegantly rustic lodges. Let our chefs prepare all of your meals, and our friendly and knowledgeable leaders do all of your activities, for a relaxing and fun vacation. If your group is on a budget, you can prepare all of your own meals in our Sly Lodge and provide all of your own programming. Rental of the lodges includes a number of free activities such as canoeing, swimming & fishing in our pond; sand volleyball; horseshoes; hiking and biking on miles of trails connecting our 500 acre property; field game equipment for soccer, football, dodgeball, etc; and coming soon–a Frisbee Golf Course!
