Dear Colonel,
I wanted to write to thank you and your staff for another successful trip to Eagle Landing this year. Our freshman class thought it was a perfect start to their high school career at Elgin Academy, and we continue to build on the positive impact the trip had in bringing us together as a group and building confidence in our students at this time of transition to high school.
We truly appreciate how willing the staff at Eagle Landing has been over the years to help design our trip to meet our objectives. Much care, thought, and planning has gone into working with us to incorporate changes over time to meet the specific goals we have for different groups from year to year. We have established a very positive partnership with the staff at Eagle Landing and that is one of the reasons that we continue to choose Eagle Landing, even though it is a long trip from the Chicago area. Our first hand experience continues to confirm our choice: Wilderness Adventure is worth it!
Our experience has also taught us that we can count on Wilderness Adventure to deliver what they promise. For over a decade now, Elgin Academy has sent groups of students annually for a week- long experience that helps develop character, outdoor skills, and confidence in our students. Although some of the faces have changed over time, we have always found the staff to be professional, compassionate, and well prepared to work with our students. We have never been disappointed! In fact, your reputation grows each year with our staff and students. Your staff is all around the best we have encountered—from the counselors to the kitchen to the specialists that help with our rock-climbing and other training. We look forward each year to meeting up with the kind of people that we feel confident in trusting with our students.
