Morning Magic: As the sun rises over the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains, our campers wake up to the fresh mountain air and the promise of another awesome day at camp. Gathering with their fellow campmates, they kickstart their day with a hearty breakfast, fueling up for the adventures ahead. For those campers on a backpacking adventure, campers will break down their tent, pack their bag, and hit the trail headed to the next adventure.
Daily Activities: Every day campers will take on new and exciting challenges, whether it's paddling down a winding river in a canoe or kayak, scaling rock faces with our rock climbing instructors, or soaring through treetops on our exhilarating high ropes course, there's never a dull moment at Wilderness Adventure at Eagle Landing's Summer Camp.
Building Bonds: Throughout the day, our campers engage in team-building exercises and leadership games, fostering a great sense of community and collaboration among the group. Through shared challenges and victories, lifelong friendships are forged, and valuable leadership skills are earned.
Afternoon Adventure: After campers recharge with a lunch with their camp group, campers dive into their next activity for the day. To get to their afternoon activity, they might be hiking, biking, canoeing, or taking our camp bus! Daily activities may include swimming, mountain biking, rock climbing, kayaking, canoeing, high and low ropes, team building activities, natural water slides, our giant swing, and more!
Campfire Connections: As the sun dips below the horizon, signaling the end of another thrilling day, our campers gather around the crackling campfire for dinner time. Eating s'mores, telling stories and recapping their adventures from the day, all while camping under the stars.
WA Olympics Extravaganza: To kick off the end-of-camp festivities, campers gear up for the highly anticipated WA Olympics—a celebration of friendly competition among the groups and goofy antics. From canoe races and slip and slides to sack races races and tug-of-war showdowns, campers put their teamwork and coordination to the test in a series of hilarious challenges. Laughter fills the air as campers bond over shared victories and good-natured rivalries, creating memories that will last a lifetime.
All-Camp Spaghetti Dinner: After working up an appetite with their Olympic endeavors, campers gather for a legendary feast at the all-camp spaghetti dinner. Groups from all corners of camp converge for a massive spaghetti extravaganza, indulging in heaping plates of pasta and garlic bread galore. With laughter and chatter filling the pavilion, campers revel in the sense of community and friendship that they've built.
Final Campfire: As the sun begins to set on another incredible camp session, it's time to gather 'round the campfire for one final hurrah. Campers and counselors alike take the stage for an evening of skits, songs, and silly antics at the all-camp campfire. From impromptu talent shows to camper-created comedy sketches, the campfire is where campers and counselors showcase their creativity and spirit. With the stars twinkling above, campers reflect on the memories they've made, the friendships they've forged, and the adventures that await beyond the campfire's glow.
