Wilderness Adventure is hosting the Appalachian Mountaineer Nov 1 - designed and executed by Gordon Wadsworth and Emily Fairfield.
2025 brings the best Mountaineer yet. The best aid stations, amazing views, and rowdy good riding which will challenge any bike and rider. Its that autumn gathering we all need and love.
Featuring narrow forest roads, old rail beds, and of course the now famous ridgeline exposure of Bald Mountain, The Appalachian Mountaineer is back and here to show of some of the best parts of #Gravelachia.
This year racers can choose from multiple distance options (pending). Upon returning to Wilderness Adventure, riders are treated to campfire hospitality, a delicious post-ride meal, and a "cold one" of your preference included with entry.
