Safety comes first - always. Every activity is led by climbing experts hired for their experience and expertise, and all staff are Wilderness First Aid-certified. Participants receive a thorough safety orientation at the start of their trip, and every climbing activity is age and experience-appropriate and supported by appropriate safety equipment.
We ensure safety and quality instruction:

For up to six guests, our top-rope & experiential climbing, as well as skill-focused climbing, include a dedicated guide.

Meals and accommodation depend on the climbing location and the duration of the trip.

We offer a packed lunch service and can provide breakfast and dinner options as well.

Some trips allow restaurant meals, other trips we're back at Wilderness Adventure, sometimes it's a backcountry meal.

Guests are welcome to bring their own meals if they prefer. Please plan to bring your own snacks and drinks.
Accommodation:

Depending on your trip location, we may be tent-camping at established or backcountry campsites.

Frequently Asked Questions
Are spectators allowed during the climbing trips?
-
No, spectators are not permitted unless they are included in the booking and the required paperwork. This policy is in place to comply with land agency regulations and ensure safety protocols.
What is the minimum age for participation?
-
There is no minimum age requirement to participate in climbing activities. However, the average age for children to start outdoor climbing with no prior experience is around 6 years old. Please note that an adult must accompany guests under 18 during the trip.
What are the meeting times for the trips?
-
Full Day Trips: 8:30 AM, 9:00 AM, or 9:30 AM
-
Half Day Trips: 8:30 AM or 1:00 PM
-
Please note that start times may be limited on weekends and holidays due to parking restrictions.
What happens if it rains or the weather is bad?
-
Trips will run rain or shine. Our guides may adjust the trip's objectives or locations to accommodate the weather conditions. However, if severe weather or land closures occur, rescheduling may be necessary.
What is your cancellation and rescheduling policy?
-
A 50% deposit is required at the time of booking. Deposits are refundable if you cancel at least 14 days before your trip. Deposits can also be transferred once within the calendar year, provided you request the transfer at least 48 hours in advance.

Unfortunately, cancellations made within 48 hours of the trip start are non-refundable. Severe weather or land closures may require rescheduling; we will work with you to identify a suitable alternative.
