The Main Lodge

The Main Lodge is the center of Wilderness Adventure. Its rustic log-style bunk lodging hosts large groups for meals, meetings, weddings and family vacations.

One queen bed, an outdoor fire pit and access to the bathhouse with toilets and showers, just steps from the wide banks of Craigs Creek. A covered front porch with seating looks out over the woods.

Royal Cabin

One queen bed, an outdoor fire pit and access to the bathhouse with toilets and showers, just steps from the wide banks of Craigs Creek. An open deck with Adirondack chairs sits beside the front door.

Campground

Primitive campsites with fire rings

Wilderness Adventure offers a range of beautiful and primitive campsites that cater to different styles of camping.

  • The Meadows

    Porta-potty nearby and walking distance to the shower house. Every site has a fire ring and picnic table and is vehicle accessible. Sites take two to three tents; a small group site takes three to five.

  • Communal camping

    Close to the shower house and the main lodge. Picnic tables and fire rings, vehicle accessible.

  • The Wall Field

    RV and vehicle accessible, with a covered pavilion, picnic tables and a charcoal grill, its own porta-potty, and the shower house five to ten minutes' walk away.

Campground FAQs

Before you camp

Where are the bathrooms and showers?

The shower house has restrooms and hot showers. The Meadows and the Wall Field also have a porta-potty nearby, and communal camping is close to the shower house and the Main Lodge.

Do you have glamping?

Yes. Glamping yurts are available on request for extra guests. Call the office to check availability for your dates.

Do you have RV sites?

Yes. We have pull-in RV sites. They do not have hookups.

Is there electricity or water at the sites?

No. Every site, including the RV sites, is boondocking only, with no electric or water hookups. There are no outlets for charging, so bring a power bank for your phone.

What do we do with trash?

Please use the trash bins in the campground.

How does check-in work?

There is no check-in. Your booking confirmation email shows the site number you chose, so drive straight to your site when you arrive.

What kinds of campsites are there?

Individual tent sites, pull-in RV sites, rooftop tent spots and large private group sites. Every Meadows site has a fire ring and picnic table and is vehicle accessible.
