Climb real Blue Ridge rock with a private instructor

Half and full-day guided climbing for families, groups and corporate teams, on our 50-foot wall and on real rock in the neighboring Jefferson National Forest.

What you get

A private instructor and all the gear

Every tour is run by a qualified climbing instructor and sized to your group, so nobody waits in line. We provide climbing shoes, harnesses, helmets, ropes and all the hardware — bring closed-toe shoes and water.

Beginners spend the session learning to move on rock and to belay properly. Experienced climbers get routed onto harder lines. Either way the instructor stays with your group for the whole session.

Options

Climbing wall, real rock or both

  • The climbing wall

A 50-foot tower with modern safety systems and routes at every grade. The easiest place to start, and it runs in most weather.

  • Real rock

Guided climbing on real rock in the neighboring Jefferson National Forest, for groups who want the hike in and the view from the top.

  • Add the Giant Swing

A 30-foot drop, bolted onto the end of a climbing session for groups who want one more challenge.
