What tuition includes

What’s covered, and what to plan for separately.

Overnight camps

Meals, snacks, activity equipment and guided adventures are included. Backpacking programs also provide a backpack, sleeping bag and liner, sleeping pad and tent, plus transport to and from activities during the session.

Day Camp · $599/week

Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm, for ages 8–13. Lunch, a midmorning snack, an afternoon snack and activity equipment are included.

Optional Salem Park and Ride shuttle: $50/week, in addition to tuition. It leaves Salem at 8am and returns at 6pm.

Staff and safety

Our counselors and safety

Counselors complete a 14-day orientation covering camp policies, safety protocols and group leadership before campers arrive. Activity instructors work to industry standards for climbing, paddling and caving.

Every staff member holds a current background check, Wilderness First Aid and CPR certification. Wilderness Adventure is accredited by the American Camp Association.
